2018 VCE results

Personal bests come in a range of contexts, and we salute every student who committed to achieving theirs and who can look back feeling pride and satisfaction with their achievements and contributions across a range of endeavours.

The College is delighted to share the VCE results of the class of 2018.

In the Class of 2018 students who sat for VCE exams:

• 11.6% achieved an ATAR above 95
• 39.5% achieved an ATAR above 80
• A perfect study score of 50 in achieved in History

Benjamin Mason is Dux of the College in 2018, with an ATAR of 98.75. Benjamin joined Kingswood College in Year 7 and has always impressed with his intellect and drive to improve and perfect his skills.

Second in the Class of 2018 by a small margin is Sabina Aitken with an ATAR of 98.3. Sabina also joined the College in Year 7, and her six years have been characterised by a deep commitment to achieving her personal best, and an unwavering commitment to social justice.

Samuel Moss achieved an ATAR of 97.9. Samuel joined the College as a six year old in Year 1 in 2007, and was the Junior School Captain in 2012. He was Debating Captain this year and widely admired for his laconic perspective, prodigious general knowledge and entertaining speeches.

Kristina Bell achieved an ATAR of 97.8 and Margaret Chambers an ATAR of 97.3 both of whom contributed significantly to the wider life of the College.  Rounding out the group whose ATARs were above 90, is Owen Davies, a quiet achiever with 93.45 and College Captain Catherine Chen with 90.45.
