The Stephenson Resource Centre caters for staff and students from Years 7 - 12 by providing a place for private study, quiet reading, teaching and literature classes as well as an online presence through Kingsnet at the Stephenson Resource Centre page. Resources for loan and browsing include databases, fiction and non-fiction eBooks and a large collection of print and audio-visual resources catering for all areas of the curriculum. Students have access to resources, printing and scanning facilities and areas where they can work to complete projects individually or in groups.
Literature for pleasure is available in a growing eBook collection accompanying magazines, graphic novels and an extensive collection of print Fiction. The teacher librarian supports teachers in class time by fostering a love of literature through the Seek Book Club and reading classes for younger years.
Support for students and teachers in the use of the growing electronic resources collection involves working with the classes, tailoring lessons to specific topics of study and promoting appropriate acknowledgement of sources.
