The International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) is a globally recognised program. Students will benefit from a broader program with greater depth in units-of-inquiry ensuring they are well-rounded, inquisitive and engaged learners. The program enables younger children to discover, explore, imagine and understand through active play, so they will develop the social, emotional, physical and cognitive skills needed to reach their full potential.
Students learn through enquiry and play-based activities and are encouraged to develop independence, a love of learning and confidence.
The program is developed through careful observation and an understanding of each child’s interests and their stage of development.
Each group is taught by a qualified Early Childhood Teacher and Assistant; and in preparation for their transition to school they are also taught by specialist teachers in the Junior School for Art, Library, Music and the Perceptual Motor Program (PMP).
