Kingswood College looks forward to celebrating its 135th anniversary at our Gala Ball in the stunning Plaza Ballroom on Saturday, 30 August.
This will be a milestone moment in the College’s history, bringing together our community in true style for an evening of celebration, connection, and reflection on all that makes Kingswood College extraordinary. Dorothy Gale, a young girl living in Kansas, is swept away by a tornado to the magical land of Oz. There, she embarks on a journey to find the Wizard of Oz in the Emerald City, hoping he can help her return home. Along the way, she befriends a Scarecrow (who wants a brain), a Tin Man (who desires a heart), and a Cowardly Lion (who seeks courage). Together, they face challenges, including the Wicked Witch of the West. In the end, they discover that the power to fulfill their wishes was within them all along. Dorothy learns that “there’s no place like home” and wakes up back in Kansas, realizing it was all a dream—or was it?
