If you were in Year 9 at Kingwood College in 1992 and participated in the Victorian Adolescent Health Cohort study (VAHCS), please read on… The VAHCS is wanting to contact former Kingswood College students who were originally involved in 2000 Stories. They are calling out for ‘lost’ participants to get in touch with them. The 2000 Stories: Victorian Adolescent Health Cohort Study is a landmark longitudinal study spanning over 27 years. The project began in 1992, when a group of around 2000 Year 9 students (14-15 years of age) were selected to participate. Participants completed six interviews at school age (from Years 9 - 12), and four interviews in adulthood (aged around 21, 24, 29 and 35). The VAHCS is excited to have received funding to return to their participants an eleventh time in 2020, as participants enter their early 40s. If you’re an original participant please be in touch again: https://www.mcri.edu.au/research/projects/2000-stories #belong
