In the College’s 131 years, there has rarely been a cohort of students who have faced greater challenges and overcome adversity than the Class of 2021. Having completed their final two years of schooling, mostly online, it now gives us great delight to share with you exciting news about the success of the Class of 2021. They have achieved amazing VCE results, including: - Three perfect study scores of 50: in English, Global Politics and Mathematical Methods. This is a first in the history of the College, and we are enormously proud.- Our Dux is College Captain Tess Nolan, with an ATAR of 99.1. What a remarkable achievement!- Close behind, second placed is College Captain Charlie Maus with 98.95, Benjamin Male 98.9 and Grace McElholum 98.5. The results place these three students in the top 2% of the state.- 11.5% of students achieved an ATAR 95+, placing them in the top 5% of the state. Student achievement Tess Nolan is Dux of the Class of 2021 with an ATAR of 99.1. Tess scored a perfect 50 in Global Politics. Tess is planning to study Nursing/Midwifery at Monash University. By the narrowest of margins, Charlie Maus is second in the rankings with an ATAR of 98.95. He is an exceptionally hard working and talented scholar scoring a perfect 50 in English. Charlie is considering his options for tertiary study – any university would be fortunate to have him as their student! Benjamin Male achieved an ATAR of 98.9. Benjamin was awarded the Annette Bennet Science Award at Celebration 2021 and the Physics prize. Congratulations to every student in the Class of 2021 who achieved their personal best: academically; in cocurricular pursuits; on the stage; sporting field; or supporting the community through very challenging times. What they have achieved is nothing short of remarkable.
