At Kingswood College, our vision is to embolden hearts and inspire minds. Perseverance, excellence, respect, courage and kindness distinguish our school culture. At Kingswood College, our students are at the heart of everything we do.

At Kingswood College, our values are more than words—they are lived through our daily actions, interactions, and decisions.

Perseverance is the determination to keep going, adapt, and to try again. It’s about showing up consistently, learning through setbacks, and maintaining purposeful effort toward meaningful goals.

Excellence is the product of consistent, intentional effort in pursuit of one's personal best. It means striving with both head and heart, embracing challenge and consistently demonstrating effort and pride in one’s work.

Respect is treating others with compassion. It is demonstrated through understanding and valuing the perspectives and differences of others and by caring for our environments and shared spaces.

Courage is having grit and demonstrating strength in the face of fear. It is the willingness to ‘have a go’ even when you may feel uncomfortable or uncertain.

Kindness is the intentional expression of empathy, generosity, and genuine care. It means treating others with compassion and thoughtfulness through both words and actions.

What Makes A Great School Great

At Kingswood College, we aspire to be more than just a school; we strive to be a community where greatness is defined not by rankings or accolades but by the values we live and the vision we share. Our vision, to embolden hearts and inspire minds, challenges us to reflect on what truly makes a great school great.

Greatness in a school is not achieved by chance; it is a deliberate and collective effort that is grounded in its core values—respect, courage, kindness, perseverance, and excellence. These values are the foundation of every interaction, decision, and aspiration within our community.

At Kingswood College we proudly work to fulfil our vision to embolden hearts and inspire minds in a nurturing environment, on land that holds deep cultural significance to the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation. We acknowledge and honour their Elders, past and present, and extend our respect to all First Nations people. Whenever we gather, and wherever we gather, we extend respect and dignity to the first inhabitants of our country and acknowledge the truth about the country on which our school has stood and now stands.
