Kingswood College offers the following Scholarships for entry into Years 3 – 11 in 2023 and into Year 7 in 2024.

Kingswood College offers the following Scholarships for entry into Years 5 – 11 in 2023 and into Year 7 in 2024.

While Scholarships are available for entry into Years 3 – 11 there are a larger number available for the Year 4, Year 5, Year 7 and Year 11 intakes.

Kingswood College Scholarships may only be awarded to permanent residents or citizens of Australia.

Current Kingswood College students are welcome to apply for an Academic Scholarship for Years 3 – 11 and for all other scholarship types for Years 7 only.

Please follow the relevant link below to apply for a specific scholarship. A $100 application fee applies to each scholarship type.

Applications and fee payment for Academic Scholarships are made through Edutest. Applications and payment for all other scholarships are made directly to Kingswood College.

Please note that students may only apply for one type of Scholarship.

Scholarships are awarded as a partial tuition fee remission. The percentage of fee remission is at the discretion of the Principal and is typically 50 per cent.

If a Scholarship is offered, and you wish to accept, charges such as a non-refundable $110 enrolment application fee and $1,500 enrolment deposit fee are still payable (for new students).

 

Academic Scholarships

Available for entry for Years 3 – 11 2023 and for entry to Year 7 2024.

New students and current Kingswood College students are welcome to apply.

Academic Scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate:

  • academic excellence, and
  • display the Kingswood College values of respect, compassion, responsibility and integrity.

All Academic Scholarships are awarded on the basis of the results of external testing by Edutest and an interview with the Principal or Deputy Principal.

How to apply

  1. Submit application to Edutest
  2. Pay $100 application fee to Edutest
  3. Sit Edutest Written Examination on Saturday 26 February at Kingswood College

Once applications close
Applicants will receive examination email from Edutest confirming venue, time to arrive and what to bring on the morning of the examination.

Selection/Offers
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to an interview during March 2022. Academic Scholarship offers are made following interview. Shortlisted applicants must be able to attend the interview as scheduled.

Academic Scholarship applications and application fee payment are made directly with Edutest.

Hospitality Scholarships

Available for entry for Years 5 – 11 2023 and for entry to Year 7 2024.

Available to new students only for Years 5-6 and 8-11. Current Kingswood College students are welcome to apply for entry to Years 7 2023 or 2024.

Kingswood College has an outstanding hospitality program commencing in Year 7 and culminating in teaching from the William Angliss Institute in Years 11 and 12.  If you’re a whiz in the kitchen and passionate about good food, then Kingswood College is the school for you! It’s easy to apply. Simply complete the Hospitality Scholarship Application Form and email a two-minute (max) video of the applicant cooking an amazing dish and telling us whey they love cooking.

Leadership Scholarships

Performing Arts Scholarships

Available for entry for Years 3 – Years 11 2023 and for entry to Year 7 2024.

Kingswood College has a thriving performing arts program. Students can perform in musical productions, concerts, open days, choirs, vocal groups and celebration evenings to name a few.

Applicants for Performing Arts Scholarships are required to attend an audition to be held in February once applications have closed. Applicants will be provided with their audition time once applications have closed. Applicants must be available to attend the audition as scheduled.

Sports Scholarships

Available for entry for Years 5 – 11 2023 and for entry to Year 7 2024.

Kingswood College has an extensive sports program and has been very successful on the sporting field, athletics track and courts to name a few. We’ve introduced an activewear wardrobe for everyday wear for every student as well as daily physical activity. If sport is your thing, then we’re the school for you! If you’re a keen sportsperson at the top of your game or competing at Representative or Regional level, then we’d love you on our team.

Visual Arts Scholarships

Available for entry for Years 5 – 11 2023 and for entry to Year 7 2024.

Available to new students only. Current Kingswood College students are not eligible to apply.

Kingswood College has a thriving visual arts program with many students having exhibited at the VCE TopArts, TopDesign and TopShots exhibitions.

Applicants for Visual Arts Scholarships are required to attend an interview to present their portfolio in February once applications have closed. Applicants will be provided with their interview time once applications have closed. Applicants must be available to attend the interview as scheduled.
