Kingswood College was established in 1890 and has a proud history of providing young people with an exceptional education. Over generations, we have collectively raised capable, competent and caring young people.

In offering these Scholarships, we hope to provide opportunities for the next generation of Wyvernians.

Kingswood College offers the following Scholarships for entry into Years 3 – 11 in 2025.

  • Visual Arts

Kingswood College Scholarships may only be awarded to permanent residents or citizens of Australia.

How to apply:

  1. Register to sit the Edutest scholarship examination ($100 application fee). Click here to register. Registrations close 5.00pm Friday 16 February 2024 (5.00pm Monday 19 February 2024 with a late fee).
  2. Complete the Scholarship Supplementary form and submit directly to the College no later than 5.00pm Monday 19 February 2024. Click here for the Scholarship supplementary form.

Additional requirements for Performing Arts Scholarship applicants

Applicants for Performing Arts Scholarships are required to attend an audition. Applicants will be provided with their audition time once an application has been received. Applicants must be available to attend the audition as scheduled.

At the audition applicants will be required to present a monologue, dance routine or
vocal/instrumental performance.
Students must have strong skills in the Performing Arts and a desire to lead and inspire others
in this area. Students will be asked questions about the kinds of performances and groups they
belong to in the Performing Arts.

A performance can be:
• One minute memorised monologue of the student’s choosing
• Instrumental performance
• Vocal performance with instrumental or pre-recorded backing track
• One minute dance routine (preferably choreographed by the student, but not a requirement)

Additional requirements for Visual Arts Scholarship applicants

Applicants for Visual Arts Scholarships are required to attend an interview to present their portfolio. Applicants will be provided with their folio interview time once the application has been received. Applicants must be available to attend the folio interview as scheduled.

Students must have strong skills in the Visual Arts and a desire to lead and inspire others in this area.
Students will be asked questions about the kinds of artistic projects they have been involved in and their
preferred styles and artistic mediums.

A folio of work can include:
• Art created during school years
• Drawing, painting and sculptural artwork produced at home
• Sketchbooks of student’s illustrations
• Photographs of student’s artwork
• Other creative visual solutions

Offer process

Applicants will be shortlisted on the basis of their Edutest scholarship examination results, information provided in the Kingswood College Scholarships supplementary information form, the audition (Performing Arts Scholarship applicants only) and the folio interview (Visual Arts Scholarship applicants only).

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to an interview with the Principal. Applicants must be available to attend the interview as scheduled. Offers will be made following the interview.

Scholarships are awarded as a partial tuition fee remission. The percentage of fee remission is at the discretion of the Principal and is typically 50 per cent.

Scholarship recipients will be required to pay the non-refundable $115 enrolment application fee and $1,500 enrolment deposit fee.
