As Term 3 draws to a close, it’s a wonderful moment to pause and celebrate the wonderful experiences we have shared across the Kingswood community. From our youngest learners in the ELC to our Year 12 students preparing for their final weeks, the past eight weeks have been filled with learning, connection, joy, and the unmistakable energy that defines our school.

We began the term by welcoming new families at the ELC Evening Tour and hosting our visitors from Gaoxin No. 1 Middle School. These experiences reminded us of the strength of community, both near and far, and the friendships that continue to enrich our students’ perspectives. A highlight early in the term was also welcoming back our Class of 1975 for their 50-Year Reunion and the Golden Wyvernian Luncheon, where memories of the past were woven together with the excitement of the present.

The term was marked by a spirit of adventure and achievement. Our Year 5 students showed resilience and teamwork on camp, while our Year 6 cohort deepened their understanding of Australian history during their visit to Canberra. For our Year 9s, the choice of Central Australia Camp or Service Week has provided transformative opportunities that stretch their learning beyond the classroom.

Creativity took centre stage throughout Term 3. The Imaginarium Evening once again wowed us with bold ideas and innovative projects. House Performing Arts lit up the stage with energy, house pride, and extraordinary talent. From Book Week costumes to the Musical Showcase at Box Hill Town Hall, students demonstrated not only their skills but also the courage to share them with others.

Across Junior and Senior Schools, sporting events like the Junior School Athletics Carnival, Cross Country, and EISM competitions gave students a chance to challenge themselves, support their peers, and revel in the joy of movement. Our Father’s Day Breakfast was another heartwarming highlight, bringing families together in a much-loved tradition.

One of the most memorable moments of the year was the 135-Year Gala Ball at the Plaza Ballroom. It was an evening of laughter, elegance, and celebration, where generations of Kingswood families came together to honour our history and look with confidence toward the future.

We rounded out the term with cherished traditions such as the Staff vs Student Debate, the Junior School Soirée, and Parent–Teacher Interviews that strengthened the vital partnership between home and school. Each of these moments reflected the essence of our community: connected, vibrant, and united by a shared love of learning.

Thank you to every student, family, and staff member who has contributed to making Term 3 such a success. Together, we have woven a rich tapestry of experiences that will stay with us long after the term has ended. As we look ahead to Term 4, we carry forward the energy, joy, and sense of possibility that has defined this remarkable season at Kingswood College.

At Kingswood College we proudly work to fulfil our vision to embolden hearts and inspire minds in a nurturing environment, on land that holds deep cultural significance to the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation. We acknowledge and honour their Elders, past and present, and extend our respect to all First Nations people. Whenever we gather, and wherever we gather, we extend respect and dignity to the first inhabitants of our country and acknowledge the truth about the country on which our school has stood and now stands.
